Why every consultation now begins with a Facial 3D scan

A face is a three-dimensional object. The way we have been documenting it, for decades, has been resolutely two-dimensional. We have introduced the Aura 3D Imaging System to change that.

For decades, aesthetic clinics have been making promises about outcomes using the worst possible tool: a phone camera.

Aesthetic work is, in the end, about something visible. So we built our consultations around something you can actually see.

Aura is a Swiss-made 3D facial imaging platform developed by Hexagon, designed specifically for the aesthetic consultation room. Thirteen cameras capture your face and neck in 0.2 seconds with sub-millimetre accuracy, producing a photo-realistic 3D digital twin we can rotate, examine, measure, and compare against later scans as your programme progresses.

You see yourself accurately, often for the first time.

The 3D capture gives you the closest thing to an objective view of your own face — including the asymmetries, textures, and proportions you may not have previously noticed.

You can preview potential outcomes.

Aura lets us generate up to three simulated outcomes from a single scan, so you can see how different aesthetic approaches might affect your appearance before committing to any of them. Simulations are tools for discussion, not promises — but they are a meaningful step beyond imagining outcomes from descriptions alone.

You receive a proper before-and-after record.

Each scan is stored in your record. As your programme progresses, we recapture at defined intervals — giving you a sub-millimetre comparison of the same face at different points, rather than a flattering photo in flattering light.

Your consultations are clearer.

The single most useful thing about Aura, in our experience so far, is that it gives client and clinician a shared visual language. Conversations that used to involve a lot of pointing and gesturing now happen in front of a rotatable 3D rendering of your face. You leave knowing exactly what we discussed.

The scan takes seconds. It is non-invasive, painless, and included in every initial consultation at the clinic.
